Terrorist that killed 100 Jews to go free
Arutz Sheva:
"The Ministry of Justice is set to publish the list of names of terror prisoners who will be released in the first part of the Shalit deal.
Among the murderers that will be released is Hussam Badran, former commander of Hamas in Samaria. He was responsible for massacres at the Tel Aviv Dolphinarium, Sbarro pizzeria in Jerusalem, Matza Restaurant in Haifa and the
Park Hotel in Netanya.
Badran has as much Jewish blood on his hands as some of the Nazi criminals who were put on trial after the Holocaust."
We need to keep the Shalit deal in perspective. It is wonderful news to know that our solider is on his way home, but we cannot view this as a peace offering.
Hamas has demanded that these murderers be released, and they will receive a hero’s welcome at home. Although it is important that Gilad is free, this shows Hamas that Israel is willing to trade 1,000 people, some (not all) terrorists, for one innocent man. And they will try to find another innocent to kidnap again, in order to set more killers free.
So why is Israel doing this? Because Israel values life. One of Hamas’s catchphrases is “We desire death like you [the Israelis] desire life.” Our great nation must keep its wits about it. If these terrorists, their hands covered in blood, strike again, there will be no reason for Israel not to retaliate, and show the world that this is what Hamas’s idea of a fair exchange brought them.
